Royal Aeronautical Society Cardiff Branch

The Cardiff Branch was formed in 1992 and serves South Wales to the marches. Lectures are currently held at a variety of venues across South Wales including the University of South Wales, ICAT and British Airways Maintenance Cardiff (BAMC) to name a few. Lectures run from September through to April and attendees are asked to advise of their intention to attend by email by mid-day of the lecture day or by phone to one of the Branch Committee. Unless stated otherwise, refreshments are available at 18.30 followed by the Lecture at 19:.00.

As part of the Centenary of Powered Flight celebrations in 2003, the Branch inaugurated an annual named lecture to be known as the "Ernest Willows Lecture", after the noted airship designer who was based in and around Cardiff in the early 1900s.
