Sarah’s former life as a musician brought her to yoga and she loves to bring music into her classes. She has been practicing since 2004 and has trained extensively in Vinyasa Flow with Cyndi Lee and Jason Crandell and is currently training with the Vajrasati School. Sarah is really passionate about yoga that gets you feeling everything; no numbing out or checking out which in turn allows students to explore what’s going on beyond the asana. In her teaching Sarah encourages absorption and self study with a firm belief in using yoga to avoid the auto-pilot and the need for speed that encompasses so much of our daily lives. She cultivates slow, deep, alignment-based sequences which come alive from the energy of a community setting so that students feel more connected. At the heart of Sarah’s teaching is humour and the encouragement to be authentic to ourselves and to create a practice filled with joy and longevity.
