SARAP

The project is a two-man operation run by Ferdinand Montoya and Anthony Manuel who have been close companions for the best part of two decades. Ferdinand is currently Head Chef at The Cavendish in Marylebone and has worked in several restaurants in Sydney and London including the Michelin Starred Restaurant Story. Anthony works as a digital and creative consultant with experience in web development and digital marketing.

 

We are self-proclaimed foodies, driven and sometimes obsessed with finding new flavours and we’ve discovered a gap in the market for Filipino cuisine. This passion of food also comes with an urge to want to share these experiences with anyone hungry enough to join us on our little journey.

 

With Ferdinand spending his early life in the Philippines he really wanted to unearth those childhood memories of sharing, coming together and the celebration of food. Anthony has spent time travelling around the Philippines on scuba diving adventures and together have a good understanding of the unique flavours, ingredients and styles of cooking Filipino cuisine has to offer.
