As a former Director of the Learning Needs Team, Joanna is able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of every child, including those with specific and additional educational needs such as dyslexia, attention, focus and behaviour difficulties, Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, language and emotional difficulties and other learning needs. She thoroughly supports children to ensure that they are provided with a safe environment which enables them to thrive. She is a passionate and commited educator and lucky enough to have gained a substantial amount of training, experience, and skills necessary to be able to plan and deliver high quality pastoral care and education for all students.

Joanna's career in education started when she worked as a behaviour and educational advisor for the National Health Service. Working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, she is able to deploy a variety of strategies and interventions that target a number of educational and health needs.
