Shaping Horizons

Shaping Horizons is a value-driven social enterprise born out of the University of Cambridge. The organisation´s mission is to ignite collective impact while helping corporations develop their employees’ transferable skills.

To achieve this, Shaping Horizons organises one-year-long innovation programmes for young people. The participants of the programme receive research-inspired innovation tools to form teams and develop impactful projects. They are also matched with corporate employees who mentor them to accelerate their projects. The employees also receive training from Shaping Horizons. During the mentoring phase, the employees can put the lessons into practice and earn a certificate for their achievements.

In this way, not only do business employees have a unique professional development experience, but they also contribute to bringing forward social impact with young talent. Shaping Horizons is committed to building a network of social innovation beyond 150 countries by 2030.
