Sharing Training Excellence in Medical Education

The Wales Deanery, in conjunction with Cardiff University’s School of Medicine and Swansea University’s College of Medicine, is holding the two day 2018 STEME Conference at Cardiff City Stadium on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th September 2018.

 

The overarching theme of the Conference will be 'Future Proofing Education and Training'.

 

The theme for Day 1 will be 'A Changing Landscape' and for Day 2 will be 'Technological Innovation in Healthcare Education'.

 

The event is open to the four categories of secondary care medical trainers requiring recognition by the GMC, i.e:

 

  • Postgraduate Educational Supervisors of Junior Doctors
  • Postgraduate Named Clinical Supervisors of Junior Doctors
  • Lead Co-ordinators of undergraduate training at Local Education Providers (LEP)
  • Doctors responsible for overseeing undergraduate students’ educational progress for medical school

 

Trainers can register for either one or both days of the Conference.
