Simon Sole

I had three related careers: military engineer/intelligence analyst, entrepreneur and finally film maker. I am very much interested in the 'Why' certain things happened in history and always seek to connect such analysis to contemporary events. Our first, film Containment was a thriller about lock down during a virus made in 2015> Of course, we never thought it would become so relevant so soon although in fact suck lock downs had been common in China. This film Amashinga, is about a war based on intelligence fabrication and the human behaviour which led to the fabrication repeated in 2003.

I have degrees from RMCS (Maths and Physics); MA in War Studies from the University of Baluchistan (Pakistan where I lived for a year) and an MPhil from Downing College, Cambridge in International Relations.
