SkyBound Rescuer / Professional Rescue

The SkyBound Rescuer Project was set up by SkyBound Innovations with the main aims of: bringing clarity to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the search and rescue (SAR) community, providing the research and evidence necessary for effective SAR UAV use, finding the best UAV characteristics for each response team, finding the best practices for UAV operations within SAR, finding the best form of training for SAR UAV operations, and delivering solutions as a result of this extensive research.

Professional Rescue is a search and rescue training academy that has trained hundreds of first responders in water rescue, boat handling and rescue, flood response/rescue and helicopter aquatic techniques. These client delegates have ranged from Strathclyde FRS, Norfolk FRS, GMC FRS, Merseyside FRS, Mid and West Wales FRS, HM Coastguard, Mountain Rescue, Police services, Hong Kong FRS, US Army in Europe, Sweden FRS, Scotland’s FRS, Private Pilots in Water Survival and SLSGB’s Flood Response Service volunteers etc.
