Sounds Folkestone is a portal for classical music initiatives in the Folkestone area.

We’re encouraging and supporting creative collaborations with local artists and cultural projects, and establishing an all year round coherent classical music offering, spearheaded and curated by an experienced team of musicians, administrators and other local creatives.

Music Education will be a central part of the offering, building on the work of Sacconi Quartet, now officially quartet in residence for the town, in engaging with young string players and taking creative projects into all areas of the town.Sounds Folkestone will support and promote the wonderful new Folkestone Early Music and Folkestone New Music initiatives that have become established cultural events in the town.

We have invested in technology to ensure that Bayle Music’s concerts that take place in the 13th Century St Mary and St Eanswythe’s Church in The Bayle, can develop both online and offline.
