South East International Business Growth Project

The Department for International Trade is working with the European Regional Development Funded Project "South East International Business Growth" (SEIBG).

The SEIBG Project is a £3.8million 3-year project which aims to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs within West Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire areas in international markets and will achieve this goal by providing these SMEs with the expertise and support needed to break into the global market place.

The SEIBG project targets the following priority sectors ICT & Digital, Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Marine, Defence, Renewable Energy, Professional & Business Services, Creative, Energy, Environmental Technology, Goods and Services.

Our ERDF support programmes offers SMEs the possibility to receive bespoke advice and support from an International Trade Adviser (ITA), who can act as an independent mentor for their businesses and help them overcome the barriers that may prevent them from exporting or growing internationally.
