When Spinnaker started out in 1997, we launched the first ever recruitment agency specialising in shore-based shipping vacancies. We bridged a gap between clients and candidates; finding the best talent for our clients, in turn furthering the careers of our candidates. Since then, our business has grown to see success in over 60 countries and we diversified into new areas that complement our existing business. We employ around 40 people trained in shipping, energy and freight forwarding and logistics, making their knowledge and passion for recruitment second to none. Each day, we connect people in fascinating and vital global industries.


HR Consulting from Spinnaker Global offers a range of management consultancy solutions to a global shipping client base with a specialist focus on compensation & benefits studies, staff and executive remuneration package design, outsourced HR support, organisational structure, employment contracts, salary clubs, office start-up feasibility / costing and advice to remuneration committees. We provide a range of consultancy services, including expert witness support, benchmarking, training, and strategic reviews. This division is also home to the Maritime HR Association and the Seafarer Employers' Association
