Spurn Bird Observatory Trust.

SPURN BIRD OBSERVATORY has been operating continuously since 1946, and has mainly been managed by volunteers. Thousands of naturalists have stayed and contributed to Spurn Bird Observatory's records. Almost a third of a million birds have been ringed here, helping to map out and conserve the habitat our migratory birds rely on during their journey. Many people have enjoyed watching the breeding, migrating and rare birds move through the area. It is a truly unique place and now has a brand new Bird Observatory. Opened in early 2016 the very modern Obs is open to anyone wishing to stay at Spurn, wishing to celebrate the natural splender of the estuary, the sea, the wetlands and Spurns unique coastal countryside.
