Stephen G Anderson is a professional family, workplace, civil & commercial and neighbourhood mediator, and a peer mediation co-ordinator. He is a mediation child consultant, professional practice consultant, trainer and a non-practising solicitor. He is authorised to undertake pre-court application mediation information and assessment meetings (MIAMs) and is FMC and ADRg accredited.
He is a regular attendee and speaker at the Resolution, FMA, College of Mediators, IACP & APFM conferences in the UK and North America. Stephen was invited by the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals to be the only non-North American, blogger for their website - Be-Fulfilled. This year, Stephen has been involved in presenting a paper about online dispute resolution to the Fmaily Mediation Council.
He, was invited by Professor Elizabeth Stokoe to take part in the BBC Radio Four programme, The Life Scientific, about her CARM method of teaching and appears often on BBC Radio Suffolk. Stephen has been referred to as "the bad boy of ADR" for his prominent and outspoken crticism of the adversarial methods used by many family lawyers.
