Hi, I'm Steve and I own and run A London Miscellany Tours, which offer guided walking tours around the Uk's capital. I've been running these tours for about ten years now, and as the history of the city is one of my passions, I think I've got the best job in the world. Here at A London Miscellany Tours I like to keep things clear and simple, so I limit the numbers of attendees on every tour to eight people. That way everyone feels a part of the tour, it's easy to hear and it's easy to ask questions. The tours are specifically designed to take in areas that you may not have thought about visiting, there will be no Big Ben, no Buck House and no Houses of Parliament, but I can assure you that each tour is created to let you see how much history there is within the city, the streets, buildings and in most cases the people who lived, worked, loved and died within them. I suppose most companies have some kind of mission statement, so if I had to put mine out there I would say that it would be "That if a visitor to London who comes on a tour leaves with a little piece of London in their heart, then I've done a good job"
