Stowe Heights Challenge Course

Stowe Heights Challenge Course is located on the east side of Des Moines, Iowa near the State Fairgrounds. The course involves a combination of mental and physical challenges requiring groups to work as a team to accomplish goals. Through a series of fun and unusual activities, participants learn valuable information about themselves, each other, and the group as a unit. By removing people from their usual environment and placing them in a new, unique setting, a challenge course experience fosters shared learning, openness, and cooperation. The course has a series of low team building elements in addition to a 2 level static high course.

Low elements take place on the ground or up to 3' above the ground. High elements are usually constructed on utility poles up to 30' above the ground and requires harnesses and additional safety equipment.

In addition to programming events, we host volunteer events and special occasion events. Our primary focus is on providing a unique team building experience for youth or adult groups. Our mission is to engage and connect participants through quality programming and coaching that will assist individuals and their groups achieve desired outcomes in communication, collaboration and cultivation of their community.
