Studio 13 - Meisner

Studio13meisner is an acting studio based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We provide professional standard actor training at  costs designed to be more affordable for most actors. We teach the acting technique developed by world renowned acting teacher and coach, Sanford Meisner.

We are a not for profit social enterprise comitted to providing access to quality actor training for both new and/or experienced actors regardless of background. We offer a complete acting course which means all our students start with the basics of The Meisner Technique which is then developed through a series of structured exercises into more advanced text anaylsis and scene work.

The Meisner Techique is taught in all major drama schools, universities and colleges across the world. It is unique in that it teaches the actor from the inside out. There are many methods, processes and techniques that teach an actor to act. The Meisner Technique teaches actors HOW to act.
