Artist Sue Jones MA runs informative printmaking courses from Stoneman Press, a well equipped printmaking studio in Wimbish, Essex, about 20 miles from Cambridge. Sue has a BA in Illustration and an MA in childrens Book Illustration.  She is an experienced printmaking tutor, with a vast experience in teaching and many printmaking  techniques.  Brilliant at conveying her enthusiasm to groups of artists learning at all levels. Sue has delivered and developed numerous workshops, including the Fry Gallery in Saffron Walden and Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge University and Kettles Yard in Cambridge and the British Museum in London. She has been the Lead Tutor and Studio Manager at the Curwen Print Study Centre for most of the last two decades, developing and running the Print Certificate course and working with Stanley Jones and Chloe Cheese. 

Stoneman Press offers include Lino, Photo litho, Collograph, Drypoint, Screen and photo screen, Photopolymer, Woodcut, Monotype, Mountboard cuts, Safer etching as well as 'open access' for personal development. Courses are suitable both for complete beginners and for the artist looking to expand their knowledge of traditional and experimental processes. Please be aware there are steps up to the studio.

Sue has an MA in Illustration from Cambridge School of Art and exhibits frequently.   She promotes and furthers the understanding of printmaking thorough her role as founder member of Cambridge Original Printmakers and is currently organising the Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale 2018. Her own work can be seen on her website printsuejones.com and is also for sale from her studio. Sue also teaches at Gainsborough House, the ACE Foundation Stapleford Granary, and is an Artist Facilitator for Kettlesyard, Cambridge University.

Sue is always interested to hear from other artists interested in running courses at Stoneman Press and she frequently delivers workshops to schools and other community groups.
