She loves guiding in the city where she was born, grew up and has lived for over 50 years. After an eclectic career spent mainly in adult education and charities, Sue now has time to indulge her twin passions of walking and discovering more about London. She especially likes to explore lesser-known parts of London and to share with others the hidden histories she discovers.
Sue’s walks usually have a social history or literary focus and she has a particular interest in the story of London’s women. She is a volunteer guide at the Foundling Museum and when not walking she struggles to manage her east London allotment.
She is also very pleased to design customised walks.
