Sunken Studio is delighted to offer ceramics taster days and short courses for adults in the privacy of a professional studio. Hands-on sessions provide insight into a selection of techniques and processes and are designed to introduce beginners and enhancers to advanced working methods and practices. The studio, based in Roundhay, can accommodate groups of 3-4 people – perfect for anyone wanting an attentive experience in an informal environment.
We take group and individual bookings: both are a great way to celebrate a special event or reward great work. Our packages are social, experiential and material – we work hard to ensure you have an enjoyable day whilst learning new skills and making beautiful things to keep or share.
All packages include access to a wide range of custom-made tools and resources that have been designed, and made, by Sunken Studio. We love making tools and when we say range, you can expect range.
Sunken Studio is a project by ceramicist Rebecca Catterall. Rebecca has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and has received several prizes and awards.
