Sunny Art Centre - London Contemporary Art Gallery

www.sunnyartcentre.co.uk

The Sunny Art Centre is located in the heart of London only a minute’s walk from Chancery Lane Tube Station on the Central line, on the richly historic Grays Inn Road. The history of this location is particularly important to the identity and standards which the gallery unwaveringly aspires to. The Honorable Society of Gray’s Inn dates back to 1370 and was also home to Sir Francis Bacon as well as being where Shakespeare first performed his plays.   With two whole floors of exhibition and studio space, as well as large display windows, we are simultaneously a contemporary art gallery and a studio for learning fine art techniques. We house exquisite paintings, sculptures, ceramics, antique furniture, and many other unique artworks. In particular, prestigious fine art collectors and professional artists contributed to our collection.

On the one hand, our art centre has an extensive collaboration experience with large-scale institutions and enterprises including the BBC, ITV, SKY TV, Selfridges & Co, HSBC, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Southbank Centre, Royal Academy of Arts, School of History and Cultures at the University of Birmingham, PwC, Harrods and many others. Additionally, our client base includes a range of over 2000 registered students.

On the other hand, Sunny Art Centre promotes an understanding of fine art from various perspectives and social viewpoints. We offer advanced art courses and workshops by professional artists and drop-in classes for students of all ages and skill levels. We have free monthly exhibitions to promote cultural diversity in the visual arts, interactive sessions with art lecturers, as well as facilitating forums, which allow artists and students to share knowledge and network amongst peers. Our aim is to bring the beauty of art to life through an extensive exhibition programme, educational courses and corporate services. These allow us to stimulate debate, address questions of cultural diversity and reach out to a wider audience.

We endeavour to provide an inspiring environment to reach an understanding and appreciation for art. At the same time, we strive to promote an accessible art world and cultural diversity through the representation of both emerging and established contemporary artists.

We want people not only to look at art but also practice it themselves. We are therefore a space that provides people with art courses and workshops suitable for any level. Our professional artists and tutors offer tailored guidance and have extensive experience in the art world and in teaching fine art. Hence, we work to make art accessible also through active participation.

Moreover, our exhibitions appeal to a global audience, eager to discover and appreciate new cultures and their art forms. We constantly work in order to provide young generations of artists with a platform to expose their work to collectors from across the world. The support of our established artists has also benefitted this vision. We, therefore, hope to promote a vision of a truly global art world where artists and art forms can meet, develop and influence one another and give birth to the masters of the future.
