Sunny Art Centre - London Gallery and Art Classes

We are located a minute's walk from Chancery Lane station, on 30 Gray's Inn Road. Our gallery aims to include both acclaimed and emerging artists from the European and Asian art scenes. As a teaching facility, we also offer a range of art classes for everyone regardless of level and experience.

Art Teaching

We offer drop-in evening and weekend art classes. Our classes are designed for anyone who wants to develop and improve their artistic skills or receive guidance on portfolio preparation. Our classes range broadly, and include selection of subjects, use of line, tone colour, proportion, scale, and composition.

Our specialist tutors teach oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, charcoal, graphite and more. We teach a broad range of genres including calligraphy, portraiture, still life, old master techniques, life drawing, cast drawing and Chinese painting. The wide span of techniques and the depth of expertise on offer is what sets us apart from other teaching centres.

Students can choose 4-24 sessions from beginner, intermediate or advanced classes. We also offere hobby classes to art enthusiasts who want to explore different tecnhiques and materials.

Our aim is that each student will ultimately develop a unique artistic sensibility which they can call their own.

Gallery

The Sunny Art Centre is located in the heart of London only a minutes walk from Chancery Lane Tube Station on the Central line. With two whole floors of exhibition and studio space, as well as large display windows, we are simultaneously a contemporary art gallery and a studio for learning fine art techniques. We house exquisite paintings, sculptures, ceramics, antique furniture, and many other unique artworks. In particular, prestigious fine art collectors and professional artists contributed to our collection.

On the one hand, our art centre has an extensive collaboration experience with large-scale institutions and enterprises including the BBC, ITV, SKY TV, Selfridges & Co, HSBC, Giorgio Armani, Givenchy, Southbank Centre, Royal Academy of Arts, School of History and Cultures at the University of Birmingham, PwC, Harrods and many others. Additionally, our client base includes a range of over 2000 registered students.

On the other hand, Sunny Art Centre promotes an understanding of fine art from various perspectives and social viewpoints. We offer advanced art courses and workshops by professional artists and drop-in classes for students of all ages and skill levels. We have free monthly exhibitions to promote cultural diversity in the visual arts, interactive sessions with art lecturers, as well as facilitating forums, which allow artists and students to share knowledge and network amongst peers. Our aim is to bring the beauty of art to life through an extensive exhibition programme, educational courses and corporate services. These allow us to stimulate debate, address questions of cultural diversity and reach out to a wider audience.
