Painting is a skill, just like cooking or playing the guitar. With a little guidance and a lot of practice, you get better. And the better you get, the more fun you have. The good news is that practicing painting is fun! In fact, I encourage my students to think of everything as practice.My teaching methods focus on positive reinforcement; looking for what’s working, and expanding on that. Too much damage has been inflicted by critical art teachers.
