The Army Benevolent Fund

The Army Benevolent Fund is the National Charity of the British Army. Originally established in 1944, it provides a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their immediate families in times of need. The Charity makes grants to individuals as well as supporting up to 100 specialist charities each year, which sustain the British Army ‘family’ both at home and around the world.
