The Elgin Alliance to End Violence

We are a partnership of St. Thomas and Elgin County service providers who take a leadership role in ending violence against women & children.  We work together to ensure that a coordinated, accessible, & accountable community response is provided to women who have been abused & their children.  And we seek to support each other and our communities in our work together to advocate for change in attitudes and beliefs in order to promote social change.

Our current members include:

 Aylmer Police Services; Changing Ways; Elgin Ontario Provincial Police; Southwestern Public Health; Family & Children's Services of St. Thomas-Elgin; Mennonite Community Services of Southern Ontario; St. Thomas-Elgin Second Stage Housing; St. Thomas Police Services; Victim Services Elgin; Victim Witness Assistance Program; Valora Place (formerly Violence Against Women Services Elgin County); and YWCA St. Thomas Elgin.
