The #LiveAgain Project Singing Workshop with Melissa James

#LiveAgain

The #LiveAgain Project is an initiative which encourages us to learn to live with our minds.  And for overall wellbeing.  It also aims to inspire others by inviting them to join an anyone-is-welcome-pop-up-choir.  Participants gather with the Project's creator - singer-songwriter Melissa James - either on stage or in a singing workshop and members of the public have also joined her in a random and public Big Sing.  The purpose is to empower collective voices and to promote being well mentally, physically and emotionally.

Why #SING4SANE?

The Live Again Singing Project was born from a charitable music and mental health initiative created by Melissa James in early 2016 called SING4SANE.  Summer 2016 saw Melissa invite members of the public to join her at RAK Studios in London.  The group sang backing vocals on a song called Live Again which released as a charity single with all sale proceeds going to the mental health charity SANE.  In the summer of last year a pop-up Big Sing was also held on the concourse of Waterloo Railway Station in London.  And on the 30 October 2017 a Parliamentary Big Sing event (supported by both Helen Whately MP and Luciana Berger MP) was organised to demonstrate the work of the project.  Live Again is currently on re-release and available to download via i-Tunes, GooglePlay, Amazon and other online music stores.
