The Lodge at Water's Edge

Water's Edge is a one-of-a-kind woodland estate originally built in 1940. Today The Lodge spans 3,995 sq ft including a huge kitchen with a lofted ceiling boasting 6 skylights and stained glass windows, 3 separate wings, 6 bedrooms, 4 ensuite baths and one main bath. The central gathering space offers 3 distinct areas; the great room with original wood burning fire place, the salon overlooking the creek, and the parlor with a wall of windows at the east side of The Lodge. Each have their own esthetic and unique nod to mid-century interior design. The outdoor spaces include a sprawling back patio with buffet and bar space. The patio is also home to the huge outdoor fireplace built decades ago in the  quintessentially mid-century flagstone style. Finally, the surrounding decks. A multi-level deck spans the entire west facing side of The Lodge and provides a breathtaking view of the Slippery Rock Creek and bordering McConnells Mill State Park land just accross the water.

As we restore each space indoor and out, we are cultivating a fully facilitated retreat and small event venue. At this time we can accommodate 50 event guests and 20 overnight guests. We will host many types of gatherings including all types of retreats, weddings and workshops. We look forward to hosting your event or getaway.
