The 'Mental Health through Sport' Partnership

The ‘Mental Health through Sport’ Partnership has developed from a shared aim to try and enhance people’s mental  health through sport. In practice this involves working together on specific projects, sharing resources, working on joint funding bids, sharing ideas and practice, and also jointly delivering the symposium series.

Originally formed as a formal partnership between Newman University; Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust; and Sport Birmingham, the group has grown and now works in collaboration with a range of partners from across the UK.
