The National Archives: for Information Managers

The National Archives is the official archive and publisher for the UK government, and for England and Wales. We are the guardians of some of our most iconic national documents, dating back over 1,000 years.

 

We collect and secure the future of the government record, from Shakespeare’s will to tweets from Downing Street, to preserve it for generations to come, making it as accessible and available as possible.

 

We have a statutory responsibility to advise on best practice and standards in the management of public records. We offer training and events to staff involved in the management of information in both digital and paper forms.
