The Platform Cafe

The Platform Café is a community space in the heart of Loughborough Junction, providing healthy, nutritious food and a welcome space to feel at home. Each day we prepare homemade lunches using freshly picked seasonal produce grown at our community garden, the Loughborough Farm, as well as surplus donations from City Harvest and Borough Market.

We aim to celebrates the diverse food cultures of our neighbourhood through our workshop programme, where you can expect to see fermentation classes and cultural home-cooking, as well as community events and supper clubs.

We offer regular volunteer placements, training opportunities for people experiencing barriers into employment and an innovative guest chef programme for local cooks to showcase their food and gain experience working in a commercial kitchen.
