The Poppy Factory

The Poppy Factory was founded in 1922 in order to provide work for disabled veterans and the wider Armed Forces family and proudly continues this role today.

Based within our factory in Richmond, we are privileged to continue our traditional work, making around 12 million poppies and 100,000 wreaths for Remembrance Day each year. However, The Poppy Factory’s main activity is now the national employability programme, Getting You Back to Work, which helps disabled veterans to overcome the significant barriers that they face and find and sustain jobs within commercial organisations throughout the UK.

Since developing a nationwide focus in 2010, The Poppy Factory has helped hundreds of wounded, injured or sick ex-Servicemen and women into work, employment-related education and volunteering roles.
