Who we are

The Royal British Legion is a charity (registered charity number 219279) dedicated to helping members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families all year round. We also campaign to improve their lives, organise the Poppy Appeal and remember the fallen.

How we use your personal information

At the Royal British Legion we take our commitment to maintaining the privacy and security your personal data extremely seriously, ensuring that we meet all data protection requirements. We do not pass on any of the information that you give us to any third parties, except in circumstances where such information may be requested by the police to ensure the security of our events.

What we collect and why

The Royal British Legion will only collect the personal data that is absolutely necessary to register you for one of our events and to ensure the safety and security of that event. That is why we may ask you for different data for different events. We will not continue to hold any of your data any longer then is required and as such we will delete your personal data one month after the event you have registered to attend.
