Thorranze Cheung

Thorranze Cheung, managing director and co-founder of Red Unit: 360 Chinese market communication solution.

 

Thorranze had his Graphic Design master’s degree at Edinburgh College of Art, the University of Edinburgh and Advertising bachelor’s degree at School of Communication and Journalism, Jinan University, China, one of the most influential communication schools in the advertising industry in China.

 

Thorranze has over five years design and market communication experience in China. He is the former creative copywriter in McCann Erickson Guangzhou office, provided creative strategy and copywriting service to the leading companies in China, e.g. China Telecoms, Ping’An Bank, Darlie Toothpaste and Coolpad etc. 

 

Grown up in Guangzhou (Canton), one of the 4 top Tier 1 cities in China and had over two years study and start-up business experience in Scotland, Thorranze has a perfect combination of cultural intelligence of the West and the East. Importantly, he has a deep insight of your primary customers the western companies usually target in China - the middle-class in China’s Tier 1 cities.
