TOO BEAUTIFUL TO BE USEFUL
Pin-Yu Wu & Alice Luo | Feminist Art & Cultural Research Collective
We are an artist-curator collaboration exploring gendered experience through participatory art practice and cultural theory. Our work sits at the intersection of feminist material culture, critical making, and socially situated practice.
Pin-Yu Wu is a visual artist whose practice transforms everyday objects into sites of political inquiry. Alice Luo is a feminist curator specialising in gender studies, visual culture, and contemporary art theory. Together, we design workshops and dialogues that materialise the invisible labour, contradictions, and complexities of feminised existence.
We host workshops, talks, and collaborative projects that challenge participants to think through making and make through thinking. Our work has been presented at the Royal College of Art and other cultural institutions across London.
