'Train to Campaign' is run by Harmit Kambo.
I'm a highly skilled and experienced trainer and facilitator. Having worked in the community and voluntary sector for 17 years I have wide-ranging experience in campaigning, communications and influencing policy. I have worked with a range of small and large charities and campaign groups.
I am currently the Director of Campaigns & Development at Privacy International, a charity that investigates the secret world of government surveillance, exposes the companies enabling it, and campaigns for strong national, regional, and international laws that protect privacy.
I am also a Non-Executive Director of Positive Money, a not-for-profit organisation based in London that campaigns for fundamental reform to our financial system and how money is created, so that we can tackle problems like high personal debt, unaffordable housing, high unemployment and worsening inequality.
I hold an MA (Distinction) in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication. I still work as a Photojournalist and Documentary Photographer, working with charities to tell stories about social issues. See my separate website at www.harmitkambo.com.
