Tricolore Theatre Company / Artistic Director: Nadia Ostacchini

Tricolore Theatre Company, a non-profit venture, was founded in 2007 by British/Italian actress and UCL BA Hons Italian graduate Nadia Ostacchini.  Its main aim is to promote international theatre, literature, and language, although as its name suggests, the primary emphasis is on Italian work, specialising in bilingual plays for children. Tricolore’s first Christmas show, 'The Gingerbread Man/L’Ometto di Pan Pepato', in a new adaptation by novelist Penny Culliford, toured London and Rome in 2008-2009. We staged a new Bolivian play at The King’s Head in 2010, followed by an English / Italian commedia inspired play, ‘The Golden Chain/La Catena D’Oro' at Theatro Technis in 2012. Saffron Hill is a new play by published novelist Penny Culliford, which features as part of the cultural programme celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Giuseppe Garibaldi in late spring of 2014. Tricolore would thank the Mazzini Garibaldi Association for sponsoring their opening performances.
