UCL - Multilanguage & Cognition Lab (MULTAC)

The UCL Multilanguage and Cognition Lab (MULTAC) explores how language diversity shapes cognition, learning, wellbeing, and social development across the lifespan. Based at University College London and directed by Prof. Roberto Filippi, the lab brings together researchers from psychology, education, linguistics, and neuroscience.

We run public events and international collaborations to advance knowledge on multilingualism and its impact on society. Since 2021, our Multilingualism and Diversity Seminar Series has provided a platform for critical dialogue between academics, educators, clinicians, and policy makers.
