UNI Mindfulness and Wellbeing
Since an early age, I have been deeply interested in self-development, contemplation, human psychology and behaviour, holistic wellbeing, and spirituality.
Combining this with the need to make significant changes in my life - leaving behind a way of living that didn’t serve me -, I have explored many tools and practices, including meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, journaling, music, energy healing, movement therapies (such as dance, yoga, and Qi Gong), psychology/counselling, and more.
These practices have helped me overcome periods of depression, chronic anxiety, and panic attacks. They’ve also aided me in developing emotional intelligence and resilience, shifting from a fear-based mindset to a trust-based one, moving from constant worry, rumination, and overthinking to being more in tune with my body and its needs, learning to love myself (both the “ugly” and the “beautiful” parts), and connecting with my inner voice - leading me to live a life more aligned with my core values.
I believe we all face adversity to learn from it, and potentially to share that knowledge with others to support them on their own paths. Thus, becoming clear to me that others could benefit from what I’ve been learning over the years through my healing journey.
I completed a 2-year teacher training in mindfulness, which included extensive hours of practice, retreats, and both attending and teaching the most widely recognized science-supported mindfulness programme in the last four decades: the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Programme (MBSR). Additionally, I hold a post-graduate degree in Mindfulness and Integrative Therapies from the Child Behaviour Institute of Miami.
Since then, I’ve been dedicating my energy to being of service, offering what I’ve learned, and also receiving support and offerings from others, reminding myself that learning never ends and how important it is to constantly empty the cup and look inward.
I believe that the first step toward any change is to become aware of what needs to be changed, which requires presence and curiosity. The most powerful practice I’ve found to develop this awareness is mindfulness, which is the foundation of what I offer.
I look forward to sharing my offerings to support you on your journey.
