Van Gogh House London

"I now have a room, as I've long been wishing..."

In August 1873, a young Vincent van Gogh took lodgings in an 1820s Georgian terrace in Stockwell, London. While 87 Hackford Road was Van Gogh’s home for only a year, the legacy of his time in London endures. After undergoing a sensitive renovation and conservation project, the Van Gogh House London will seek to share the history of the house and inspire a new generation of young artists through Van Gogh’s London story.
