The Whipple Library is the specialist library for History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge. As well as a world-class working collection of modern books, the Library holds a significant collection of rare scientific books dating from the 15th to the 20th centuries. We aim to facilitate research in all areas of History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine, and to share our collection with the public through exhibitions and events!
