Wood Street Plot to Plate Edible Garden

Wood Street Plot to Plate Edible Garden is a community based food growing garden near Wood St station. We aim to demonstrate sustainable urban food growing in partnership with our neighbour: The Lacy Nook restaurant .

We compost kitchen and garden waste on site and use the finished compost to fill and improve our soil in raised beds and pots. We sell produce back to The Lacy Nook and donate other produce to local charities and food banks.

We are funded in 2025/26 by Waltham Forest Ward Funding to run inclusive activities on site to promote food growing, gardening and healthy cooking.
