Worth-it. Developing Mental Health and Resilience in Children and Young People

Children and young people in the UK are struggling with poor mental health. The scale of anxiety, depression, self-harm and panic attacks have sadly risen to epidemic proportions. This is effecting every practitioner, frontline worker or teacher that works with children and young people and is impacting every classroom and school in the UK. Worth-it is a social enterprise that prevents mental health problems through supporting children and young people to develop resilience and wellbeing.

We are the UK’s leading provider of Positive Education, combining the evidence based approaches of Positive Psychology and Coaching. We improve the wellbeing of children and young people in three ways; direct work, training and through creating cultures of wellbeing and resilience.

Through our direct work with children and young people, we have supported over 1000 children and young people build resilience, develop wellbeing and reduce symptoms of mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. We developed our approach into innovative evidence based, training courses that equip practitioners with skills and resources to reduce mental health problems in the children and young people they work with.

Everyone that participates in our training gains a range of skills and resources that they can use to develop resilience and improve wellbeing in children and young people. These benefits are immediate and sustainable. We have trained over 2000 practitioners, teachers, school leaders to use the skills and strategies of wellbeing and resilience in their work every day. We are proud to say we can demonstrate our approach has positively impacted on of over 40,000 children and young people.

We want the ripple effect of our work to continue to grow and benefit as many children and young people as possible. Our national training courses are for practitioners, teachers and front-line workers, who want to improve the mental health of children and young people.

Our training will provide you with skills, ideas, strategies and resources that will improve the mental health of the children and young people you work with and support. Book on our training events today in an area near you.

We look forward to working with you soon!
