Wrexham Glyndŵr University is a young, vibrant institution at the heart of the North East Wales community, striving to be student-centred, market-led, of international significance and open to all.
The last few years have seen a range of new cutting edge facilities from our - £5m Centre for the Creative Industries, £2m Centre for the Child, Family and Society to new industry standard engineering equipment.
We are proud of the opportunities which we provide for those from non-traditional backgrounds to enter higher education. More than half of our students study part-time and we are one of the UK’s leading universities for supporting students from lower socio-economic backgrounds through university thanks to our comprehensive Widening Access programme in the local community.
Wrexham Glyndŵr University has more than 1,500 international partners and are leading the world in elements of scientific research with Computing, Engineering, Psychology and Communications.
We use our partnerships with industry to feed directly into the creation of our degrees to ensure that our graduates are ready for the workplace when they leave us. We don’t believe that there should be barriers to people achieving their dreams, and past and current students consistently praise our staff for the help and support offered to them throughout their courses.
