Xameleon Theatre


Xameleon Theatre is a London-based theatre company founded in 2015. Working with theatre makers from Russian speaking countries, including Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Baltic and Central Asian countries, Xameleon Theatre introduces Russian theatre traditions to the UK theatre scene.

Over last couple of years Xameleon Theatre presented various shows based on Russian and international classics, including Love in a Nutshell based on Anton Chekhov’s short stories, Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, A Doll's House by Ibsen, A Dog's Heart by Bulgakov , The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery and Diaries of Madmen based on Nikolay Gogol's novel.

Xameleon Theatre also has hosted New Russian Drama Week in London in 2018, which featured new drama from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Xameleon Theatre was shortlisted among top three Best Russian Theatres Abroad in 2018 according to prestigious Russian stage award The Star of Teatral and participated in international theatre festivals in Israel, Germany and Russia.
