I’ve drawn and painted all my life and spent many happy years illustrating and exchanging illustrated books and letters with my childhood pen-friend! Later, I went to art college in Falmouth Cornwall.

I have a love of nature and everyday surroundings, and I love to explore characters in unexpected places doing unlikely things. One of the most wonderful things I have been lucky enough to do is work with groups of people in order to help them to develop their own creative voice., especially people who have never drawn before.

My artistic process involves lots of observational drawings, work in sketchbooks and experimenting with ideas and materials until the final piece is achieved. I am guided by the real and the imaginary and a cheeky sense of humour. Very excited to share my first illustrated picture book is out with Little Tiger/Penguin Random House in October 2025.I’m open to creative collaborations, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any enquiries.
