QBG Compost Team
QBG Compost connects communities and culture with compost to rebuild NYC soil and plant health.
Community dropped-off food scraps and QBG horticultural waste are used to make compost. We offer volunteering opportunities, workshops, technical assistance, and the Master Composter Program.
Finished compost is distributed to NYC residents, community gardens, nonprofits, and parks, and applied throughout QBG.
