How are Eventbrite fees changing in the UK?

Updated by Support

On the 5th of November, 2018 at 6PM GMT we’re reducing our pricing for event creators on the eblink{Professional=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/organizer/professional} package. The eblink{Essentials=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/organizer/essentials} package and custom pricing for event creators on eblink{Premium=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/organizer/premium} packages won’t be impacted by this change. Events that are already published and live on the 5th of November, 2018 at 5:59PM GMT also won’t be affected by this price change. Free events will stay free.

TIP: You can eblink{absorb fees into your ticket price or pass them on to your attendees=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articleredirect?anum=4375}.

Fees for the Essentials package stay the same.

Fees for the Professional package.

Starting on the 5th of November, 2018 at 6PM GMT, if you eblink{use the Professional package=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/organizer/professional/} and publish an event that takes payments in Pound Sterling, your Eventbrite Service Fee per paid ticket will be 5.5% of the ticket price + £0.49 per paid ticket (includes eblink{Eventbrite Payment Processing=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articleredirect?anum=3490}, no maximum fee). The new pricing represents a reduction in the Eventbrite Service Fee percentage (from 6.5% to 5.5%). If you've opted to use eblink{PayPal=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articleredirect?anum=3461} to take payments for your Eventbrite event, you’ll still need to pay both the Eventbrite Service Fee and PayPal’s fees. Eventbrite’s pricing change doesn’t impact the processing fees you’ve negotiated with PayPal.

TIP: If you have additional questions, please eblink{reach out to our support team=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/contact-us}.

Fees for the Premium package stay the same.

As a eblink{Premium package=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/organizer/premium} event creator, your custom fees are not affected by this pricing change. If you have additional questions about your Premium package, please contact your Customer Success Manager or eblink{reach out to our support team=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/contact-us}.

No change for live events.
