Create an email campaign

Engage and grow your audience with targeted cross-event email campaigns. To get started, select “Campaigns” (at the top of the page). Then click “New campaign”.

<h2 id="1">1. Before you get started.</h2> <p>☑️ Revenue — track direct revenue generated at the email campaign level. Hover over the ⓘ (information) icon for details. ☑️ Ticket Sales — track direct ticket sales generated at the email campaign level. Hover over the ⓘ (information) icon for details. ☑️ Recent sales may take up to 24 hours to reflect when viewing revenue and ticket sales on the Email Campaigns page. ☑️ Opens — % of recipients who opened your email campaign at least once. ☑️ Clicks — % of recipients who opened your email campaign and clicked a link at least once. ☑️ Unsubscribed — % of recipients who unsubscribed to no longer receive email campaigns. eblink{Delete=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=41418} these from your subscriber list(s) for future sends. ☑️ Spam — % of recipients who marked your email campaign as spam. eblink{Delete=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=41418} these from your subscriber list(s) for future sends.</p> <h2 id="2">2. Select “Campaigns”.</h2> <p>eblink{Log in to your account=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/myevents target=_blank} and select “Campaigns” (at the top of the page).</p> <h2 id="3">3. Click “New campaign”.</h2> <h2 id="4">4. Name your campaign. Then, click &quot;Get started&quot;.</h2> <h2 id="5">5. Enter campaign information (all fields required).</h2> <p>• Subject — Add a succinct subject line to speak to your event and build interest. • From — The name of the person or organization sending the email. • Reply-to-Email Address — Replies to your email campaign are sent to this person. Enter a group email alias if multiple people should receive replies (e.g., boxoffice@, info@).</p> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">NOTE: The campaign name isn&#39;t included in your email campaign. Leave as is or change to make it easier to reference when managing email campaigns in your Eventbrite account.</p> <h2 id="6">6. Select events.</h2> <p>Use the search bar to locate your desired event(s) or tick the box next to &quot;Select All&quot; to include all events in your email campaign.</p> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">PRO TIP: Check the box next to an event in the Design Tab to include it in the Featured Events section of your campaign.</p> <h2 id="7">7. Customize the look and feel.</h2> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">Click “Style” and set the following: • Background Image — Drag and drop or click to choose an image file. This image appears behind the body of your email campaign and replaces the border color you set. Also, if the image isn&#39;t large enough to cover the background, it will repeat. • Theme — Use the toggle to switch between &quot;Light&quot; and &quot;Dark&quot; primary color palettes. • Primary Color — Use the color picker to enter the hex color code to set a color for the section header text and call-to-action buttons. • Border Color — Use the color picker to enter the hex color code to set a color for the surrounding border. Click “Content” and set the following: • Header Image — Drag and drop or click to choose an image file. This image shows at the top of your email campaign. • Header image URL — When the header image is clicked, recipients are directed to this URL (web address). • Header image alt text — Alt. Text for the header image.</p> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">NOTE: Any images you use must be yours or adhere to Creative Common copyright licences. eblink{Flickr=&gt;https://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/} has a great Creative Commons section, and you can browse or search through content under each type of licence to find photos. Use photos under &quot;Attribution License,&quot; which allows you to use the works as long as you give credit to the copyright owner.</p> <h2 id="8">8. Add a description.</h2> <p>Enter text for the body of your email campaign. The following is supported: • Change the text size • Change the text alignment • Format text: bold; italics • Add hyperlinks • Create lists: ordered and unordered</p> <h2 id="9">9. Provide organizer information.</h2> <p>• Name • Address • Event URL (required) • Facebook URL • Instagram URL • Twitter URL • Add Organizer Logo — The logo image appears at the top of the email campaign. Use at least a 150 x 75px (2:1 ratio) image that’s no larger than 1MB.</p> <h2 id="10">10. Preview and send a test email.</h2> <h2 id="11">11. Select your subscriber list.</h2> <p>Use the search bar to locate your desired list(s) or tick the box next to &quot;Select All&quot; to send to recipients across subscriber lists.</p> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">TIP: eblink{Learn how to create a subscriber list=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articleredirect?anum=41418}.</p> <h2 id="12">12. Send Now or Schedule Send.</h2> <p>• Send Now — Send your email campaign immediately. • Schedule Send — Set a specific Send date, Send time, and Timezone. Return to &quot;eblink{Campaigns=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/manage/campaigns/email target=_blank}&quot; to view and edit at a later date and time (before the email is sent).</p> <p class="text-small l-pad-vert-2 l-pad-hor-2 card l-mar-top-2">NOTE: If you include a private event in your email campaign, a message shows before you send.</p> <h2 id="13">13. Manage campaign.</h2> <p>Monitor the status, opens, and clicks on the eblink{Campaigns=&gt;https://www.eventbrite.com/manage/campaigns/email target=_blank} page. To see a full breakdown or export a CSV file, select a campaign and choose “Delivery Report”.
