How to transfer to a different event or ticket type

If Registration Transfers are enabled by your event organiser, you can transfer to a different event or ticket type from the eblink{Tickets=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/mytickets} page of your Eventbrite account. Simply select your order/registration (under Upcoming Events), then click "Transfer." You can choose "Change Event" to transfer to a different event the organiser is hosting, or select "Change Ticket" to transfer to a different ticket type within the event you're currently registered for.

1. Go to Tickets.

To see if you can transfer to a different event managed by the organiser or ticket type within your current event, eblink{log in=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/login target=_blank} and click the Account Menu. Then select Tickets to go to your Tickets page..

2. Select your order (under Upcoming Events.)

You should see completed orders for upcoming events in chronological order. Find your order on the Tickets page and click to view or manage.

3. Select Transfer Event.

If you see the word Transfer next to your ticket/registration details, click to see the transfer options enabled by the event organiser.

NOTE: If you don't see Transfer as an option, you'll need to eblink{contact the organiser=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articleredirect?anum=3275} to ask about transferring to a different ticket, event, or group. They might allow transfers, but didn’t enable Registration Transfers when setting up their event.

4. Select Change Event or Change Ticket.

If you see the option to transfer to a different event or ticket type, you’ll be able to complete the event transfer on your own. • Change Event: Transfer to a different event managed by the same organiser who created the event you're currently registered for • Change Ticket: Transfer to a different ticket type in the event you're currently registered for

NOTE: If the transfer option you'd like isn't shown, you'll need to eblink{contact the organiser=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articleredirect?anum=3275} to ask about alternative options. They may allow transfers, but didn’t enable Registration Transfers when setting up their event.

5. Optional: Choose the event you'd like to transfer to.

Choose your new event from the list and select Continue.

PRO TIP: If you selected Change Ticket, skip to Step 6.

6. Choose your ticket type.

Choose your new ticket type and select Continue.

TIP: If you don’t see the event or ticket type you need, there could be a few reasons. See our eblink{troubleshooting tips=>https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/support/articleredirect?anum=3756} for why this might happen (and what you can do).

7. Review your Transfer Summary.

Read the Transfer Summary to make sure it reflects the new event and ticket type you want. Then select Continue Transfer.

8. Double-check your registration information.

Review your registration information to make sure everything is in order. Depending on the ticket type you select, you may have to enter billing information for the price difference and possible fees.

EXAMPLE: You’re not done (and you won’t be charged for anything until you click Register or Pay Now if there's a cost associated with the transfer.)

9. Select Register or Pay Now.

10. You’ll see a confirmation message when your transfer is complete.

Once your transfer is complete, you'll be given a new order number. An email confirmation and ticket will also be sent to the email address on your registration.
