Meet the amazing Valerian Dragon and his brilliant trainers, spot Olaf the Ice Dragon and FANG the Red up on the castle lawns.
Join in a ‘Mythical Adventure’ with Fairy Belle and her friends - Dexter the big Welsh Dragon, Baby Ferne and Dewi, a friendly dragon with scales and fur!
Enjoy Wizardy Circus Workshops in the Gardens .
The Festival of Dragon also incorporates the Margam International Kite Festival.

The event has limited ticket capacity with advance tickets ONLY.
PLEASE NOTE :-DISCOUNTED Tiered TICKETS available. Tier 1 are the cheapest tickets and launched first followed by Tier 2 and Tier 3.
CAR PARKING Fee is INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE. Eventbrite Booking fee applies

DANSA Disability Bus is free to use and runs in a circuit from the Orangery Car Park up to the Castle - it can be used by the less able and is equipped with a wheelchair lift.
We are a Hynt scheme member. The Hynt scheme member would be required to purchase a ticket , the carers who attend the Hynt scheme member do not require a ticket but must be in attendance with the member.

Inside every child is a hero, awaiting the call to action to pull them from the ordinary world and into the Heroes Journey. Epico the dragon parts the mists of time, inviting the audience to the Land of Adventure for non-stop family fun!
Housewives favourite Sir Aurelious Jones and his goblin servant, whip the crowd into a frenzy. A Hero chosen from the audience must master three tests to win the Silver Breastplate, before embarking on a quest to find and tame the beast. In the Dragon's Lair, our Hero must face their fear to rescue Sir Aurelious from certain death!
The show puts children in "the position of expert," in order to teach Aurelious the importance and values of friendship. Having saved both Aurelious's life and his friendship with Epico, the child is knighted before leaving the Heroic World transformed.
Part the mists of time, reveal a realm where fire meets steel and experience an encounter where magic and mystery abound. Smokey the Dragon is on the loose!

Knight of the Realm, Sir Manly seeks the brave of heart to join the Order of St George: Defender of Dragons. Experience with wild animals is advantageous though not required. Any injuries caused by combustion are the responsibility of the applicant!
