CERTIFICATE IN COACHING CHILDREN'S CRICKET UKCC LEVEL 2 WALSALL COLLEGE

This course is for individuals, over the age of 18 and is designed to help develop your confidence and equip you with the knowledge, understanding and applied skills to lead coaching sessions for children and create safe, fun,play-centred coaching environments usually in your own club coaching environment.

The course will run as follows:-

Mon 11/01/16 6.30pm-9.30pm Induction Day

Sat 16/01/16 10.00am-5.30pm

Sat 30/01/16 10.00am-5.30pm

Sat 13/02/16 10.00am-5.30pm

Assessment Day TBA 10am-5pm

All applicants will need to have a current DBS (new name for CRB) check and as part of the course will have to complete the online Safeguarding Young Cricketers course.You will also need a current 1st Aid Certificate.

The course is for coaches who are going to predominantly coach children from 6 to 13 years.

This course provides the core capabilities required for coaching but focuses on enabling the coach to provide expertise, support and passion for children's cricket
